The new KFC in Gainsborough is now open for business.
The restaurant is on the site of the former Magistrates’ Court, in Roseway off Church Street, which had been empty since the court closed in 2008.
A spokesman for KFC said:
“The restaurant will create approximately 40 career opportunities in the local community, and we look forward to welcoming residents into the store.”
Along with teams of other contractors, Impress Paving Ltd, had to work to a tight time frame to bring the KFC build together, working in not so ideal weather conditions at times.
The Pattern imprinted Concrete we laid at the Gainsborough site was in a Charcoal colour and a sidewalk slate pattern. This pattern and colour combination can be seen on most KFC drive-thru sites.
